Description:

Central School of Speech and Drama carried out research to develop a broader picture of Widening Participation activities across the existing Conference of Drama Schools (CDS) network. CDS comprises Britain’s 22 leading Drama Schools. CDS aims to strengthen the voice of these member schools, to set and maintain the highest standards of training within the vocational drama sector, and to make it easier for prospective students to understand the range of courses on offer and the application process.

This research has given the project an opportunity to showcase the best in good and emerging practice from across the specialist drama training sector. This report aims to share this practice amongst CDS as examples and guidance for progressing WP practice within CDS.
